This eBook is the compilation of everything that I and others have told new assistants first thing in the morning when we are standing around the set cart: drinking coffee, cleaning cameras, shucking film, formating CF cards, and they ask me:
"How do I get to be a photo assistant? How do I get work.?"

I've had a dozen assistants and eight photographers go over this document for accuracy and relevance; and I feel it covers most of what those new to the commercial photo industry need to know. Also included are some stories from a number of photo assistants about shoots that some how got a little out of hand.

It is a more advanced version of the database that I have used for years to keep track of my clients, their studio information, contact numbers and info on who they are, what they shoot, and if I wanted to work with them a second time.
